We're Setting a World Record
The following information about this wondrous event was provided by Chris Bumgarner of the Statesville Progress.
Statesville and Iredell County residents will come together to set the World Record for Longest Continuous Concert. This means that for 252 hours – 10 straight days, 24/7 with no breaks – musicians of all ages will play any and all kinds of music.
You are invited to be part of this once in a lifetime event!
Whether you play an instrument, are in a band or just like to sing, we want you to be part of this history-making concert. The concert also serves as a fundraiser for United Way.

We are very honored to be a part of Habitat Iredell Women Build.
Barnett Websites has donated a blog ( www.habitatiredellwomenbuild.org ) to keep up with the progress of the Women Build that’s set for ground breaking on January 24, 2008 in Statesville.
Currently there are workshops hosted by Lowe’s Home Improvement in Troutman. You can view the dates and times on the blog’s calendar of events page. Owner, Lisa Barnett, participated in the Framing Clinic and eagerly awaits future clinics. She says “It was a very informative clinic and I had an opportunity to meet some wonderful women that all have a heart for the Community! I even bought my first hammer.”
