I got so tired of uninstalling the older version of Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control and then reinstalling the newer version. If you do it incorrectly, you will have to do it every time you close your browser. I even tried uninstalling from the control panel – add and remove programs and I still had problems. Then I reserached the problem on www.Adobe.com and found the answer!
Uninstall using Adobe’s uninstaller program. You will find an uninstaller for both Windows and Mac users. Once you save the file to your computer, exit out of all programs and quit any flash powered programs that may be running in your task bar… this includes any Messenger Programs and open browsers like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc.
When you are done with the un-installation, you need to install the current version… here is the link or simply go to Adobe and find what you need.
