The mission of the group is to encourage, educate, and motivate us to become wholly fit, body, mind, and spirit as we learn to Give Christ First Place in our Life!

When we do the cooking segments there will be small cost for the ingredients.

Starting February 2^nd, Every Thursday at 6:30pm – 8:00pm for 13 weeks. We will have one week off for Easter Break, that’s April 12^th. Our last class will be May 3rd.

Each week has the bible study but each week will have a different wellness spotlight:

One week, a speaker for motivation / education The Vibrant Coach: Nicole Greer is kicking off our first meeting with a motivating message to inspire us to action!
One week, cooking together, trying out new healthy and tasty recipes and eating them!
One week, exercise… it will be fun! (Wear loose clothing! We are going to move!)

I believe that if you give a fair price and be an honest business person your clients will stay with you longer and you will stay in business. The companies that are surviving on overcharging and unfair business practices will be out of a job one day, sooner than later. Maybe not tomorrow, but once the need is great enough, another application will come along and remove the need for web designers all together. Oh wait, that’s already happening. Facebook Application Iframe – Good or Bad?

I love learning new tricks and tools out there in the ever changing Internet land! Today was like a holiday for me as I stumbled across iwipa.com Let’s you build a little website inside facebook via an Iframe / html wysiwyg (“what you see is what you get”) editor.

Thanks to my friend Ashley High for the heads up on Facebook privacy browser. Apparently if you have that selected, the Iframe personalized pages don’t show up… hmm. Wonder what the stats are on how many people are using that privacy feature? Comments Welcome!

I just recently did a speech for my Toastmasters club which was entitled: “What You Need to Know Before You Build That Website.”

Key points to note are:
1.) What is the purpose?
2.) Purchase Domain Name with keyword and business name
3.) Where to Host Your Website
4.) Whose going to build it and maintain it?

Knowing the above factors will help streamline the website building process and save you time and money! Be sure to do your research before you start. Quoting Benjamin Franklin: “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail!”
